Overall, Marsh Creek Site 4 has a sustainable environment for supporting life due to the observation of abundant fish and macro-invertebrate species. Chemical and physical indicators also supported this statement due to the absence of e.coli, phosphates, nitrates, and positive parameters such as good levels of dissolved oxygen, pH, and water temperature . Conductivity was not ideal as it was about an average of 40
µS/cm short of the required minimum to support a diversity of species.
The water quality of this site is for the most part good, but there is another issue that could pose a threat to the ecology of the stream. The wall on the right side of the creek that is used to retain the bank is creating a channeling effect that is causing the left side of the bank to be affected. Action for building this bank back up needs to be proposed in order to prevent further damage to this bank.
